- Timothy Mitchell (12/17/1832–2/20/1916) was the son of Decovid E. Mitchell and Elizabeth Craghead. He married Ardelia Jane Wohlford on 3/4/1858. Their children were Jerome, Samuel Harvey, Charlie Alfred, Shirley Kinder, Irene Elizabeth, Esca, Daisy, James Taylor, Victoria Burton, Gilbert Morgan, Dora Thorne, Burmontia, and Birdie.
- Timothy Mitchell served in the 8th Virginia Cavalry, CSA.
