Easy to Miss:
7 Elusive Keys to Life's Passages

Posted 2025 by Henry H. Mitchell.

My wife Patricia and I collected these thoughts and spiritual principles beginning in the 1970s. They come from many sources, including books, articles, lectures, church teachings, and references in study Bibles. I call them “elusive” because they seem to appear only briefly and sporadically in public discussion. As with any topic, no matter how important, public repetition produces group boredom. But in this case, repetitive invisible internal practice produces exhilarating personal freedom.

Patricia and I, together for 59 years and now I alone, found and used these keys while traversing mountains and valleys along our path: abrupt and uncomfortable career changes, dire financial losses, violence, medical issues, separations and death among family and friends — the human condition. The most difficult passage of all for me was Patricia's sudden and unexpected death in 2024. This format is a result of my collecting, re-editing, and expanding our earlier writings and thoughts. Each key has its own .com address (click on it to read the article) for ease of reference and discussion. I hope you find this helpful, as I have.

(Note: Please don't try to consume these topics all at once! They are too big for that. Believe me. Pick the aspects that are most relevant to you at the moment. Absorb and use them as the Lord leads you.)
