Roger and Julian Boswell

The snapshot and notes of brothers Roger and Julian Boswell were included in what appears to be a scrapbook prepared during World War II at Chatham High School. The scrapbook is now in the collection of the Pittsylvania Historical Society.

Roger Boswell

Boswell attended this school [Chatham High School] for two years. He enlisted in the Navy December 1942. He has been across the Atlantic 20 times. He has been in the following places: England, Scotland, Ireland, Newfoundland, Africa, Italy and Iceland. He has been given 2 silver stars and has the Air Raid medal.
