Sherry M. Worley, 36, Mechanicsville, died in St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond on Wednesday, October 5, 1983.
She was born April 26, 1947, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, and was employed by the Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles.
Survivors include her mother and father, Edward P. and Madeline Herndon Worley, and two sisters, Mr. J.I. Barber and Barbara W. Murphy, both of Mechanicsville.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Chatham, Virginia by the Rev. Cecil Coates. Interment will be in the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery, Dry For, Virginia. The family will be at the residence of the parents at Route 718, Dry Fork.
